1952 saw the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne. To celebrate the occasion the United Kingdom held street parties and bunting was hung in red, white and blue. In 2012, 60 years on, the United Kingdom will come together to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee and bunting will be seen again in the streets.
